Usage

SendGrid can be used as:

  • Lead flow destination
  • Audience flow source

Connecting your account

Connecting your SendGrid account with Ads Workbench is really simple. But before creating the connection you need to gather an API key from your SendGrid account. In case you don’t have an API key yet, you can create one in the Settings -> API Keys section in your SendGrid account as shown in the following image:

Your new API should be “Full access” or “Restricted access” with the full permissions for “Marketing Campaigns” and “Suppressions” as suggested below.

Once your API key is created don’t forget to store it in a safe place.

Once gathered the required information, you just need to follow these steps:

  • Go on the left menu  -> Integrations
  • Click on the button “Create new”
  • Enter a name for the integration and select “SendGrid” from the Type dropdown list
  • Enter the API key you gathered from your SendGrid account
  • Finally click on the button “Save”

Creating a lead flow

A lead flow is an automation that allows you to collect the leads coming from a source and send them to multiple destinations. Once your ad account is connected and your have created the integrations for the systems where the leads will be sent, you can create you lead flow as described in the following video:

Creating an audience flow

An audience flow is an automation that allows you to keep fresh your custom audiences using as an input your subscribers' or contacts' data. Once your ad account is connected and your have created the integrations for the systems where your contacts' data is stored you can create you audience flow as described in the following video:
